This parable, found in Mark 4:26-29, focuses on "The Growing Seed." Through this parable, we learn that growth is a mystery that happens gradually over time, and that anything that is growing is alive. As believers in Christ Jesus growth is expected.

The parable of the Talents is found in Matthew 25:14-30 and comes as Jesus is teachings over the past few weeks have been in preparations for glory, this parable makes the turn and the point that not only are we suppose to be ready we are also suppose to do something with that has been given to us.

The parable of the 10 virgins gives us a peak into the understanding of the kingdom, and to the fact that we need to make sure that we are prepared. We do not want to be found wanting and or in need of salvation when the great day of judgment is upon us.

The parable of the fig tree, within this parable we find the lesson be ye always ready. when the the kingdom is growing us there is a expectation of fruit...God is looking for the fruits of the spirit to begin to mainfest in the lives of the believers and we have to be willing and able to yield up to god what he is expecting from us.

The Parable of the wedding feast, bids is to be prepared to attend the feast that the Lord has set up for us. If we miss the moment because we were neglectful to the invitation, God declaes that the kingdom suffers violence and the violent take it by force. To be ready is to put on the Lord Jesus Christ and to leave behind the old self and to live in a way that reflects the holiness, and mercy of God... and above all the acceptance of His grace!

The parable of the wicked tenants is a reminder that the Kingdom of heaven has the expectations of us, Gods Children being faithful servants and tenants. God granted us dominion in the beginning and that expectation has never subsided. God gives us real privilege with grace and giftings that we are to be faith with, and when we are not, or when we determine that I am not beholden to what God has blessed us with we are in danger of falling and failing and untimately death.

The parable of the two (2) sons, takes us into a lesson on a willing attitude does not always equal a willing action. It is a strong lesson on letting you yes be a yes, but also a relization that there is always time to change your mind when your answer to God is a No. We are confronted with the truth that doing the Fathers will is better than saying you will do it and then never following through.

The parable of the worker in the vineyard; with this parable, we learn something important about the kingdom of heaven. Just as the parable of the Unmerciful Servant teaches that there is no place in the kingdom for an unforgiving spirit, so the Laborers in the Vineyard teaches that there is no place for a mercenary spirit or an envious spirit. The kingdom is governed by grace, not by calculation. For Christians, the question is whether our service to Christ is marked by gratitude or by commercialism.

Where as last weeks lesson focused on Christ love for the lost. The parable of "The Unforgiving Servant" show the grace that God extends to his people, but also what God expects us to do when we encounter those indebted to us.

The Parable of "The Lost Sheep" is drawn from the loving words of Jesus found in Matthew 18:12-14 and Luke 15:3-7. This is Christ rsponse to those who are are lost, for what ever reason that may be; they are lost and Jesus says if you have wandered from my loving kindness, I will always come and find you with the fullness of my love.

Drawn from the book of Matthew 13:52 the parable of "The Householder" It is an abiding and transformational truth that the Old and the New treasure has to be pulled out and shared. We have to be like the scribes of old to enjoy these treasures, so we take a old and the new and we prepare our heart to seek the WORD, To to the WORD and to teach the Word

The Lesson of the Good Shepherd focuses greatly on the identity of the shepherd and what the Good Shepherd is providing to the believers. This parable is found in John 10:1-18.

This lesson focuses on Matthew 13:47-50 as Jesus speaks about "The Dragnet". The parable points us to the best method for drawing all of humanity into the loving arms of Jesus. The dragnet does not foucus on a single fish, but instead the dragnet is cast out and everything no matter what, will be wrapped up in that catch.

It is important for us to understand that the parable is about the Kingdom response of Jesus to the world that he was sent to save.
